Why the British and the Japanese are less productive than the Dutch

There's been plenty of analysis on why Japan, the UK and the USA have such low or declining productivity levels - even if employment is relatively healthy. I observed envy making levels of efficiency and work/life balance during my recent trips to the Netherlands, which may have show some cultural factors at work, as I observed in my article here.
