Noriko Sato is a results-focused executive coach, facilitator and consultant who is strategic in combining practical aspects of business with theoretical background. She has coached over 500 business leaders across many industries, including financial services, healthcare and tech. Some of her coaching results include: a senior consultant promoted to become a partner of the firm, a manager realizing their full potential to become an author of popular business books, and a country manager promoted to the head of Asia Pacific.
Noriko holds a BA in Spanish from Osaka University, an MA in Education from the University of Washington, and a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) from Hitotsubashi University.
Noriko’s managerial experience spans more than two decades at International
Education Center, HSBC Tokyo and International Pacific University in Okayama. Her coaching credentials include PCC from the International Coaching Federation, CPCC from the Co-active Training Institute and ORSCC from the Center for Right Relationship.
Noriko’s areas of expertise include leadership development, the manager as coach, diversity and inclusion, career development, leadership development for women, MBTI and team development, performance management, 360 degree evaluation, assertive communication, and motivation enhancement.
Noriko lived in the United States for eight years and has traveled to sixteen countries. She has lectured at Japan Psychological Association, the Academic Coaching Association and the International Coaching Federation Japan, advocating for the practice of evidence-based coaching.
