November 06, 2014 Is it worth learning Japanese? You might have to rewire your brain to become fluent

Europeans often ask me if it is worth trying to learn Japanese. I usually say yes, but that it is important to have realistic expectations. Adults who have become fluent in Japanese have done so by totally immersing themselves in the Japanese language, thereby rewiring their brain.
