Working with Japanese

My view is yes, it does help Japanese companies to globalise if they have more Japanese women managers, for a couple of reasons...

According to Keio Professor Shunsuke Takahashi, the problem with Japanese work habits is not the lack of balance in terms of time spent at work and time with the family, but the lack of integration of work and family life in a way that ensures a balance between thinking, intuition, feeling and sensing.

Professor Shunsuke Takahashi points to the workaholism behind long working hours in Japan and how times have changed, so that "gambaru" (try your hardest) is no longer enough - employees need the competence to offer solutions to their customers, and Japanese workplaces need to change their employment culture to be more like the rest of the world.
