It seems as if a more than usually high number of chief executives and company presidents in the UK and in Japan are being publicly held to account these past few weeks.

There needs to be a conscious process set up for communicating between Japanese operations and the rest of the world.

Japanese suppliers, customers and partners know that they can rely on each other to work day and night to get their usual supply chains back up and running. But what of non-Japanese customers, partners and suppliers who do business with Japan?
