Pauline Pei-Ling Yang is a senior executive, trainer, executive coach, and certified mindfulness teacher with extensive experience helping leaders and organizations work more effectively across cultures. She brings a distinctive combination of board-level perspective, hands-on global business leadership, and expertise in leadership development, cross-cultural collaboration, and talent strategy.

Pauline currently serves as an independent outside director of a Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime-listed company. This experience gives her a practical understanding of the leadership, governance, communication, and stakeholder challenges executives face in today’s complex business environment.

Throughout her career, Pauline has led and supported multicultural teams in global enterprises across Japan and international markets. She is particularly effective in helping leaders navigate differences in communication style, decision-making, expectations, and team dynamics. Her approach is grounded, business-oriented, and highly practical.

She is certified in MBTI and DiSC and holds the GPHR credential, enabling her to connect individual style, team dynamics, and broader cultural differences in ways that are both insightful and actionable. She helps clients apply these frameworks to strengthen leadership effectiveness, collaboration, feedback, and cross-border teamwork.

More recently, Pauline has been integrating mindfulness concepts into leadership development and coaching. Her mindfulness-based workshops and programs, including those for public-sector audiences, have been appreciated for their practical relevance to better decision-making, higher resilience, visible presence, and sound well-being.

Pauline also brings rare first-hand understanding of the expatriate experience, having lived both as an expatriate herself and as the spouse of an expatriate. She understands the challenges international assignees and their families often face when adapting to a new environment and is committed to supporting expatriates, partners, and children through training and coaching grounded in lived experience.

Her deep understanding of Taiwanese and Greater China business contexts, especially in the high-tech sector, further distinguishes her work alongside her strong knowledge of Japan. She works with executives, managers, expatriates/family, and multicultural teams who want to lead and adapt with greater clarity, resilience, and impact in global environments.
