Décoder le Japon (Decoding Japan ) was launched a week ago, and has already exceeded its target on Kickstarter. You can pre-order your copy by December 12. 

Co-authored by JIC’s French consultant, Liza Maronese, and Pauline Casaux  — who worked 4 years as a Public Servant in rural Toba  — the book shares meaningful experiences and unique intercultural insights on Japan through 45 impactful articles.

This is the first in-depth intercultural book published in French that goes beyond clichés, offering firsthand accounts of living and working in Japan. Readers will learn not just how to navigate Japanese work cu lture, but also how to feel comfortable in daily social interactions with Japanese people.

The structure of the book makes it easy to jump between articles giving readers a comprehensive overview on how to understand and adapt effectively to the Japanese environment.
